Alpha Romeo’s new compact SUV Tonale is unveiled on the 2019 Nawa Show, because of various reasons, the release time of this vehicle production version is postponed. The test vehicle was photographed in Turin, Italy, and the test vehicle still has a strict camouflage. We can see that the front face of the new car will follow the design car’s design, on the basis of retaining the Alpha Romeo family style, will be more stereoscopic, the headlights on both sides are very narrow.
From the side, the mass production version is originally retaining the body ratio of the concept car. However, the concept car and the prototype vehicle are fused on the window, while the mass production version puts the door handle in the traditional position. 
The interior can be referred to the previous prototype car, which is equipped with a full liquid crystal meter and a suspended central control screen. The style of the steering wheel still has a “super run” gene. The driving mode knob is placed in front of the block. Overall, the focus of the new car is still in motion.
As for the platform, there is news that this car will be created based on the PSA EMP2 platform, but the official does not present any information. The power part, in addition to the traditional fuel version, this car will also introduce a plug-in mixed version. Foreign media said that the company CEO JEAN-Philippe Impaarato has never been satisfied with the car plug-in mixed version, requiring engineers to further enhance its performance, which is one of the reasons why the vehicle is postponed.
