1. CHMSL noun interpretation
No CHMSL vehicles, especially cars and lower chassis mini car braking position due to the lower rear brake lights, usually the brightness is not enough, followed by its vehicles especially high chassis trucks, buses and bus drivers sometimes difficult to see. Therefore, rear-end accident risks are greater.
Studies have shown that: CHMSL is possible to effectively prevent and reduce rear-end accidents. Thus, high brake lights in many developed countries has been widely used. For example, in the United States, in accordance with regulatory requirements from 1986 all new cars sold must be equipped with high-mounted stop lamp; since 1994, all sales of light trucks also have to install brake light.
CHMSL, according to the materials used sub-divided into:
1, the gas CHMSL
2, LED CHMSL
Gas brake light, i.e., a gas made of light bulbs, such as halogen. Halogen made of high brake lights, mature technology, low price, many models are in use. But there is radiation, easy to break and so on, there is an inconvenience of transportation and installation.
LED brake light, i.e., using an LED lamp made. LED made by a brake light, with no pollution, no radiation, long life characteristics, but the high price, difficult to spread.
