What is load sensing proportioning valve?

Introduction

load sensing proportioning valve (SABS), essentially, SABS only one hydraulic mechanical means; load sensing valve role is to ensure the proper ratio of front and rear wheels during running load and ensure emergency braking when the vehicle is not a rear wheel locking. Load sensing valve using a proportional change in the distance (external force) between the axle and the vehicle body to change the spring preload, with the increase of the vehicle load, is adjusted accordingly, so that an approximation can be obtained under any load conditions ideal brake force distribution. It is installed in the pipe between the master cylinder and the rear wheel brake cylinder, by a housing, plunger, valves, springs and other components. The master cylinder housing into the hole with the communication hole, the hole in communication with the wheel brake cylinder. When the external force hours, load sensing proportioning valve plunger is pushed under spring pretension to the right most, two communication holes, the cylinder pressure is equal to the master cylinder. When the external force greater than the biasing force of the spring, forces the plunger to the left, so that the plunger in contact with the valve closed and the valve leading to the master cylinder cutting cylinder channel; external force if the pressure continues to increase, but also make the column plug right, plunger and valve disengagement, the valve is opened again, the master cylinder and the slave cylinder and connected. Such an operation is repeated so that the proportional valve of the hydraulic cylinder is adjusted continuously, i.e., continuously adjusting the rear wheel braking force.
