1 Engine ignition
The ignition system of an automobile engine, can be divided into a compression-ignition and spark ignition.
a compression-ignition
a compression-ignition: one kind corresponding to the ignition of a diesel engine, a diesel engine as a diesel fuel compared to gasoline, diesel low autoignition temperature (approximately 220 ℃ ), large viscosity and readily evaporate. Does not have a spark plug and the diesel engine, the compression ratio should be greater than gasoline engines, diesel engines rely on the compression stroke and therefore the mixed gas is compressed to ignition, it automatically fire, so that this ignition is compression-ignition.
A spark ignition
A spark ignition: one corresponding to the ignition gasoline engine, gasoline autoignition temperature (approximately 480 deg.] C) is greater than the diesel engine, and a small viscosity easily vaporized, it can be the external cylinder to form a uniform mixture of air and gas, either directly into the cylinder with gasoline injection system and the air-fuel mixture by the spark ignition of the spark plug at the end of the compression stroke, so that ignition of said spark ignition.
