i.e. mid-engine, rear-wheel drive (Middlemdash; engine Rearmdash; drive, the MR for short), is a sports car type most used and Formula One racing. In addition, some large and medium-sized passenger cars also uses this type, but with the type of small trucks.
Advantages
For sports cars:

drawbacks of
For sports cars:
1 is arranged in the engine compartment and occupies a part of the luggage space, usually, only the compartment seat 2 can be placed.
2. The engine soundproof and heat insulating poor ride quality decreased.
for large, medium-sized passenger:
requires special design of the engine 1, and it was cooled and the dust easily.
2. Remote actuating mechanism is complicated, maintenance inconvenience.
3. Difficult to reduce the height of the floor.
