1. Diverter type

crank pin steering worm:
It is an active member is a worm, a driven crank pin for the diverter element. The worm has a trapezoidal thread, the finger-shaped taper on the crank means, formed integrally with the crank pin bearing a steering arm axis. recirculating ball steering:
Such steering gear composed of two sub, one pair of screws, nuts, another pair of a rack, the teeth fan or crank pin. Between the screw and nut with the balls can cycle through the sliding friction into rolling friction, thereby improving the transmission efficiency. The advantage of this is that steering, manipulation of light, low wear and long life. The disadvantage is the complex structure, high cost, not as a rack and pinion steering sensitivity.
